Join the Crowd! ©2002 By: Pamela Geiss So you say you've been scammed? Well, I'd say you are in a majority. I don't know of one person who's been online any length of time who hasn't been scammed. Sad? Yes, but also a fact of life. The Internet is no different from the rest of the world. There are nice people who care about others and there are not so nice people who only care about themselves. So, what's a person to do? Who can you believe? Well, first of all, use your common sense. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. For example, join us and retire next month. Now, really, is that believable? Of course not! So why do people fall for it? Because they WANT to believe it's true. What a nice thought that you could start a business today and retire next month. Wow, how easy is that! It's TOO easy! And it's not doable! Next, rely on your intuition. Everyone has intuition. It's that gut feeling you get when someone tells you something that's not true. That feeling in the pit of your stomach telling you it's not true. Listen to that gut feeling - it's very smart! Don't dismiss it because you want it to be wrong. You can only be scammed if you LET yourself be scammed. So do you give up when you've been scammed? No! There are good and honest businesses out there. The opportunity is there for you to make good money online. Learn from your mistakes. We all make mistakes. The key is to learn something from them so you don't make the same mistake again! And stop thinking that because there are millions of people online, you will make a million dollars in a couple of months. Can you become a millionaire? Certainly, if you work hard, work smart and stop relying on miracles to occur. Rely on YOU. You are the only one who can make it happen. Learn all you can. Keep focused on your goals. Have specific goals and keep reminding yourself of them every day. Many people have given up just before they were going to make it. Don't let that happen to you!
